Revamp Maxim – Enhancing Service Search & Multi Service Ordering Journey

Bootcamp (MySkill - 2025)

Project Overview

The aim is to make it easier for users to search for and book various services, including transportation (motorcycle taxis and online taxis), delivery, food and goods delivery, cleaning and laundry services, through the Maxim app. Features to be developed include setting a home location, using it to search for addresses based on pickup and drop-off points, and providing map information.

My Role

Lead Team & UI/UX Designer

Responbilities

I was responsible for leading the team on this project, organizing the workflow and integrating the seven team members. I also created the style guide, including color and typography, and components such as the navbar, vehicle section, buttons, and payment section. I also designed the homepage and booking service UI, and occasionally assisted with user research through interviews with Maxim users.

Problem & Goals

After conducting further research through reviews on Google Play Store and user interviews, we managed to identify the main problems and plan development goals.

02. Define

User Persona

Used by active students who rely on online transportation for campus and daily activities, requiring fast, safe, and ease to use services in various travel situations.

User Journey Map

We structured the user journey to reveal key friction points and converted them into challenges and actionable HMW statements to guide solution ideation.

Prioritization Matrix

The ideas generated during Scenario Mapping were then evaluated using the Solution Matrix to determine priority and categorize them based on implementation complexity.

03. Develop

User Flow

User Flow maps the steps users follow within Maxim to successfully finish a task.

Crazy Eight

During the Crazy Eight session, we rapidly explored multiple layout and feature possibilities to visualize diverse solutions before moving into refinement.

Wireframe

Wireframes outline the early low-fidelity structure of each Maxim screen, serving as the foundation before moving into high-fidelity design.

Style Guideline

The style guide helps keep the design consistent and visually aligned from start to finish.
